Atlantic Signal Offers the Military Operator the Options Flexibility
to Choose from 9 Different Styles of Push-to-Talk Assemblies


Unlike the competition, Atlantic Signal offers the military operator many choices of push-to-talk assemblies. While many of our PTT designs are multi-use/multi-operational appropriate, sniper contingents are specifically addressed with models providing ease of access via index finger or weapon mounts. Command personnel are also addressed as are those requiring dual comm capabilities. Many of the Atlantic Signal PTT assemblies can be further customized – including multiple styles of remote finger/weapon switches and remote radio volume control (see details within each PTT description and the “Custom Options” link). DEFINITIONS: (a) Water-Resistant: can be used in conditions including high humidity, rain and snow but should not be submerged underwater (b) 1 Meter Submersible: can be submerged in up to 3 feet of water for short periods of operational time (c) 20 Meter Submersible: can be submerged in up to 66 2/3 feet of water



“K” Series Push-To-Talk Assembly


Constructed of black, heavy-duty aluminum measuring 2” wide X 2” high x 1 ¼” deep. The side mounted, PTT activation switch is quiet and shrouded to avoid accidental depression. Headset and radio interface cables are captured firmly by water-tight, nylon cable fittings. A stainless steel alligator-style clip, with protective rubber grips, allows for simple and firm positioning on a belt, LBE or MOLLE system vest. While most operators prefer the clip permanently affixed to the back of the housing via dual stainless steel screws, it can also be ordered with Mil Spec Velcro as an alternative method of positioning the clip onto the housing back. A watertight connector port is positioned on the top of the box, directly adjacent to the entry point of the headset cable – removal of the water-tight plug (pictured) enables the operator to purchase and plug in an optional remote finger or weapon mountable switch. An optional shrouded, remote radio volume control is also available for purchase and factory installation with the “K” Series PTT assembly. The “K” Series Assembly is submersible to 1 meter.
